December 2021 Graduates

The University of Michigan will be providing complimentary electronic diplomas to the December 2021 graduates on all three campuses. This is in addition to the complimentary regular diploma that will be mailed to graduates.

The eDiploma is a signed, certified, and secure PDF of the diploma. It is an official and legal electronic document that can be verified through the Office of the Registrar and shared with employers, family, and friends.

The degrees will be posted by the registrars of each campus following degree audits. After auditors have confirmed that degree requirements are complete, graduates will receive communication that their paper diplomas are being processed and that the eDiplomas are available to download. For the Ann Arbor Campus, most December 2021 graduates will have access to their eDiplomas in mid-January. They will be provided at no charge.
